The 2009 Norman Mailer Society Conference in Washington, DC is fast approaching (October 23 and 24). This Final Notification will include the details you will need to know if you will be attending the 2009 Conference.

Don’t forget to register for the upcoming Mailer Society conference in Washington, D.C.  The first day (October 23) will be held at the Library of the Congress in the Member’s Room, courtesy of Rep. The Program Committee seeks proposals for papers and panel presentations during the Seventh Annual Conference of The Norman Mailer Society to be held in Washington, D.C.
Norman Mailer’s literary, political, and personal relationships to the dramatic forces of power in our nation’s capital prompt the theme of our 2009 conference: “Washington Intersections: Ideology, Culture, and Biography.”

I am happy to announce that Professor Camille Paglia will be the keynote luncheon speaker at the Washington conference. She will speak on Friday, October 23. More details to follow.
