Dr. Lennon — as I read this, I'm reminded of your Norman Mailer seminar at Wilkes University several years ago… My eyes scan the lines and brain processes the information, but the sentences reach my mind with the pauses and pace and inflection and enthusiasm of one of your lectures! My eyes hear your voice and my heart feels the awe, wonder and respect for Mr. Mailer that only you can share. Thank you.

There is and was no other to equal Mailer. Such genius! And with a twinkle in his eye, and a smile that could catch one suddenly. Though I wouldn't want him for an enemy.
Love his writings, study them, learn anew with each reading.
He and Norris are so well matched and terribly missed. They left us too soon.
