Conference

Since 2003, the Norman Mailer Society has held an annual conference where academics, enthusiasts, and aficionados alike can share their thoughts on one of America’s great novelists.

The 2008 Norman Mailer Society Conference was held in Provincetown (MA) in October and had as its keynote speaker Christopher Ricks, Professor of Poetry at Oxford University. Past Keynote Speakers were Lee Siegel (2007), William Kennedy (2006), E. L. Doctorow (2005), Congressman Neil Abercrombie (2004) and Ron Rosenbaum (2003). The 2009 NMS Conference will be in Washington, DC.
