In Long Branch, a rock for native-son Norman Mailer

LONG BRANCH – They were here and then they were gone. Norman Mailer’s children, his sister, his nephew, his biographer and the society people.

The purpose of their visit was to pull the cover off a bronze plaque bolted to a jetty rock in honor of the late American author and city native.

Afterward, they attended a reception at the Long Branch Public Library.
