Conference 2024 Announcement

Greetings, members of the Norman Mailer Society! I hope you are all well.

This year’s conference will be held at the Sirata Beach Resort in St. Petersburg, FL, on November 14–16, 2024. The conference information page contains all the up-to-date information, including registration fees, hotel details, a call for papers, and information about our keynote speaker David Margolick. Please share this information with colleagues and friends. 

Society members have a reduced rate of $229/night at the resort. As usual, we have limited room availability, so please make your reservations early. Reserve your room online, or call at 800-344-5999 (Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm EST). Let them know you are calling for the Norman Mailer Society in order to receive the group rate and discounted resort fee.

If you plan to present a paper, try to have your proposal submitted by June 1. Feel free to reach out to me or the Conference Director, Enid Stubin, if you have questions about submissions or a proposal idea.
